Non – Surgical Procedures

Non-Surgical Procedures

Many Orthopaedic problems may be successfully treated without surgery and is rarely the first line of treatment for most patients.

Minimally Invasive Surgery

Minimally Invasive Surgery

In certain cases, specific knee, hip, shoulder, and foot injuries can be treated with a less invasive procedure than traditional surgery. The surgeons of COSM are leaders in the field, attend and instruct nationally, and train the next generation of podiatrists and Orthopaedic surgeons. We are one of the few centers offering all arthroscopic options for shoulder, elbow, and knee conditions.

Traditional Surgeries

Traditional Surgeries

Whether you need ACL reconstruction or a medial menisectomy of the knee, a rotator cuff repair, impingement of the shoulder, a total hip, knee, or shoulder replacement, or even carpal tunnel or bunion surgery, COSM offers outstanding care for those undergoing established orthopaedic procedures.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy

The goal of our physical therapy treatments is to help patients return to complete independence as soon as possible. Our therapists will work with your insurance to ensure we maximize your results and consider possible treatments rendered in the future. The physical therapy division of COSM offers one-on-one attention and concentrates on prescribing physical therapy exercises that enable patients to resume regular movement, control inflammation, and help prevent future injuries.

Insurance

COSM accepts most major health insurance plans and many smaller plans, including those listed below. Medicare and Worker’s Compensation patients are also welcome. If you do not see your insurance plan in the following list, feel free to call our office and we’ll be happy to provide any necessary information to your primary care provider. Certain plans restrict what services can be provided through our office (i.e. radiology, physical therapy).

* Please note that HMO patients will need a referral from their primary care provider prior to treatment.
